FYI guys: the clothing department of National Wholesale Liquidators (Broadway near Houston, big yellow sign) sells 100% silk long underwear for $20 per piece. I get this stuff from a factory store in wisconsin, but these prices are almost as good. It's incredibly useful for winter riding. I have been able to work all day in 20 degree weather with just silk, t-shirt and wool overshirt. Highly recommended.

shaving the nads helps, but certainly not the first time! it takes a few weeks for your skin to adjust.

the ladies like it too

I went there last nite too, and having misread your post, I thought it was $20 for the whole set. I was cursing you until realizing I probably read it wrong, and I did. No matter, I got two full sets of the nicest cotton/poly blend ones for $6 each, thanks to the indifferent clerk's error.

sorry about that, meatwad. (i mean sirruspackage). i wondered if i was a little unclear. should have specifified that it's $20 per piece, ie top or bottom. in wisconsin, i pay under $10. but that's wisconsin.

No sweat. Totally my fault.

If you can wait a few days for shipping you can get some good winter stuff on Sierra Trading Post's site (and scout around for coupon codes, too). I think they had silk underlayers ranging from $11-$15.
