Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Roscoenyc57 put on a bike shop appreciation night for trackstar and its messengers last night at lakeside (on avenue b, nyc). i think i was the only one to bring gears, so it was really a big fixed gear party.

many drinks were drinked, pizzas eaten, keys lost (now found), and good times had. even zack got lucky.

i also learned a new dirty word and saw some parts of people i'd like to forget. damn that photo booth!

so i just wanted to say "thanks guys," even if no one feels the need to reply to this thread.

i'm glad you had a good time, it sounds like fun, and when i'm there in jan (i don't have tix yet, but i figure if i tell enough people i'm gonna be there, i'll have to get them) i hope there will be equally fun stuff happening.
i have 2 questions; what kind of gears were you riding, and what's the dirty word?

I am going to have one of my interns scan at least one of the pictures...

Hmm what shall it be? Exposed tops or bottoms?

LAKESIDE RULES. You can test your sexiness there... On the machine or with messengers.

yeah, thanks for inviting me, msngr. Instead, I hung out on BF, and helped everybody trash the basement. Now our parents are thinking about never letting us party down there again .
