Sound editing is a wholly unknown concept to you.
Other than that: lame vid. At least I think so, although I couldn't watch it till the end, my eardrums just couldn't take the abuse. |

I was amazed its after 7:00 pm and no rider had any lights at all. If I am not mistaken each and every car had the lights on and could be seen from very far away. Its a good video but whoever is in charge of that group ride needs a safety class ASAP.
I know its a big group and it can be spotted from anywhere, but still safety lights once the sun is out or when you see vehicles with the lights on it should be a given. It was not even close to being dark yet. The sun was still in the sky behind us. I have a superflash tail light by the way. Maybe you haven't noticed running lights on cars nowadays even in the brightest of sunshine? AS far as the sound goes............ no I didn't edit the sound yet. |
just saw this.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rkiP6eMYnbM

OK, so this video might not be terribly interesting for everibody, but since it features a person whom I have the greatest admiration for - Billy Baxter - I thought I'd share it anyway. http://youtube.com/watch?v=fnb6FsHLA80 |
I shot this in Scotland last month. Wolftrax MTB park, single speed mountain bikes. For you fixed junkies I raced the Single Speed World Championship fixed a few days before. Sorry, no video of that.

The temperature is below 50 degrees for about four and a half or five months out of the year, and the wind and other weather that comes off Lake Michigan is just downright horrid. The bums and bicyclists are tenacious, the cops are almost all ticket-happy white males, the good jobs are scarce, and racism runs rampant. A Milwaukee winter is just something one has to experience for themselves, I guess. |
Now it sounds even worse! :)
Why on earth live there? |
Well, it's beer city, with lots of old breweries, original home to Schlitz, Pabst, and Blatz (all of 'em bought out by Miller), and there are lots of smaller breweries, and it's got some interesting buildings, a couple cool museums, and five or six colleges. The bike and music scene are kind of small, but decent. Biking around in traffic is fun, and outsmarting the kops isn't too hard.
I am making it sound worse than it is, I suppose. Personally, I don't plan on living here for more than a year or two longer, though. |
Oh ok. I see.
I have a friend who teaches at MIAD. Maybe i should go visit. |
If you are here and bored on a Thursday night and have a bike there is a group ride at 10 PM at Wisconsin and Water. Mainly a bunch of MIAD kids with fixies and a couple tall bikes and stuff.
