I'm getting ready to build a set of wheels. so far I've only got a Miche Primato rear. Ideally I'd like to find a Miche front to match, but I don't want to spend too much, so I'm weighing other options including:

A Gipiemme loose ball hub NOS very smooth feeling Campy knockoff. $20 at a LBS

A Shimano Ultegra 6500 at icycle for about $30

A Formula Track hub $30 from Harris

edit: all of the above are 32 hole.

OR

Does anybody know where I can find a decent price on a front Miche Pr1mato track hub?

If you get your order in by the end of December you can nab a sweet discount from Yojimbo's: http://yojimbosgarage.com/salesandspecials.htm

Miche is on the list of hubs in stock - give Marcus a call and see what he can do for you.

I feel like you can't go wrong as far as lower end hubs with IRO/Formula. Tha said, while I don't know anything about Gipiemme hubs, when you support your LBS, they tend to support you too...

To quote a classic: It's hard to f*ck up a front hub. So buy whichever you like the looks of best.
