Deeper droping stem for 26.0 bars

I have a set of bars I really love and don't want to give up, but I'd like a stem with a steeper drop (I like how they look and I want to get my body a little lower over the bike). Best I can find is the Nitto Pearl which is 70 degrees, which is about what I have now. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on what to look for. I've already checked the places online I normally look for parts to no avail.

Thanks.

is that a threadless fork?

presumably not, since he mentioned considering the nitto pearl.

Its not, but ignore this thread, i ended up posting in the mechanics thread and got some good answers.

what did they suggest (out of curiosity)? i think the cinelli track stems are 26, but i cannot remember.

The cenilli stems, one guy told me how he managed to shove a 26 into a a 25.6 and to email yellow jersey, who im still waiting on for a reply.

It's funny that you posted in there, saying that the SS/FG forum was PMSing, and then had half the people that responded to the thread be regulars from this forum.

yea, heh. when i posted this it sunk like a stone to the second page before i got one reply. It was all pistaboy, kermit the frog, fg cypher, and what threads should i never start. i was getting annoyed. i think its passed for now.

i may have one 120mm Syncros stem but will double check the 26.0.

I'm currently running a 26.0 bar in a 25.6 clamp. You just have to be careful putting it in, as stretching out the clamp does work since its really a very small difference. I found the best tool for the job was the nail pulling part of a hammer. The tool offered me plenty of torque that I was able to do it myself with no help.

I was told you could take a shim and put it inbetween the bolt and where it wants to go into, screw it in and the pressure would bend and hold it open. (just another topic for future people who find this thread)

a penny or nickel works well for this.
