Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Two brakes, a derailer, and mountain bars?!?!

And I'm suppused to buy this as a speed/time trial right?

When I think about aerodynamics, I think about Dickie's overalls.

0-60mph in 5 seconds. I'd wear an ugly jumpsuit too!

. . . or have a really low-powered rocket.

But I guess that wouldn't be so exciting, and it might not even necessitate the jumpsuit. And frankly, if there's no jumpsuit-wearing involved, I don't want to know about it.

26" fat tires? Puhleeze! I doubt weight would make that much difference, but aero, and rolling resistance surely would. Come on thisn't rocket science

Looks like a flightsuit to me. Nomex, fireproof. My dad wears them to work.

Also, you'd think he'd have some sort of body armor on underneath that thing. Wiping out at 60mph doesn't sound like it's good for the dermis. Good thing they have bar ends on that bike.
