i like everything about that bike except the pedals.
Aimar needs an ENO hub.. and new pedals.. and he is the owner of a bike with no available upgrades..
ha -as if that exists... |
That bike is rockin! It killed a man once and just laughed as he bled.
Dude needs new pedals though. |
bike looks good pedals are fine rock on
that bike is the raddest
That bike is plenty solid with those pedals. in fact the only thing that could top those pedals would be some crank bros. 50/50s. You need some badass platforms to match them tires.
why such thick tires, and why platforms?
maybe i'd have to ride it...i like 23s, 25s myself. |
Ditto, but I admire anyone who has the guts to say F that, I'm rolling some thick ones that can roll over the end of time itself.
What tires they be? It looks like 26in tires.
i'm guessing that the streets he rides on suck a whole lot (look at the road the picture is taken on) so those tires make total sense especially since they are slicks. i would probably do something similiar if i had to ride on sh*tty streets like that.
am i the only one that noticed that the guy has no way of stoping. ive seen a lot of bikes like this, no clipless or clip in pedals and no brakes. i saw one on the bus just like this last time. i don't get it. i can see riding without brakes if you think your tuff, but without clips?
now that bike is hot. vintage up the ass, suckaz!
does anyone still manufacture wooden rims?
What's that on the seat post? I cant really tell what size those tires are,but I heard of a company that makes a 700x60 slick.

Playin' devils advocate here. I've got pedals like those on my mountain bike and they really stick to your feet. See them pins? Don't ride barefoot. They stick into your shoes and you've got to work to get them off. Those tires look awesome, by the way. Kinda like full on slick Hookworms. Neat bike.
Also, that vintage is sweet ass. |
Just checking, everyone knows that is a MTB frame...right?
I like it. i'm going to get myself a pair of those moby's next spring for the mtb- at ~40 psi those things just float over potholes.
needs shinburgers

That's a really cool use of an old steel MTB frame.
I think that'd be an awesome around town bike. I'd put brakes on, of course, but those tires + fixed drivetrain would be rad. And comfy.
In fact, I've been thinking about doing something remarkably similar with my spare 1x1 frame. |
Would someone please tell me WTF that is on the seat post?
