Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? then the answer is yes, you can use them. It might be a little tricky, but the white industries hub will make things a lot easier for you. The hardpart about the vertical drop outs is getting proper chain tension. https://sheldonbrown.com/fixed-conversion.html#vertical explains it pretty clearly.

a flip flop hub is just a hub that is threaded for a cog+lockring on one side, and a bmx freewheel cog on the other. It's not specific to frames with vertical drop outs.

1. go to www.yahoo.com
2. type in white industries
3. go to their website and look at the eno hub
