longshot: SR fluted seatpost in a decent length (350mm?) 26.4. every one that shows up on the bay is like 6 inches long.

That's because when they made them fluted frame sizing was done a lot differently. those were from the "fistful of seatpost" days. I think you'll be hard pressed to find one longer than 250mm. Incidentally, my non fluted "250mm" SR is about 245mm to the top of the clamp. there is only about 120mm worth of adjustable post between the max line, and the tup of the tube.

thanks for the tip mattface, that makes sense. i wanted to get the seatpost that originally came with the frame, but i guess that's not going to work out. i really liked the fluted look tho. know any other companies that made similar ones but longer?
