Yea, I enjoy the bike. I thought about buying a frame-only from cannondale, but I bought my current bike for less than $500 (barely used), which is more than the frame would cost.

A 63 popped up on ebay once, but my bidding software flaked (the only time ever) and I didn't get it. I have a couple other aluminum frames (Ridley, Specialized S-works) and the capo is as nice, or nicer, than them, at considerably less money. I almost think the bike would sell better if they'd raise the component spec along with the price. As-is it's in no-mans land.

Surprisingly, the stock wheels have held up great. The chainring is the only thing I've had issues with.

or a spoke wrench? i got mine for, like, 3 bucks at veloshop. or something. truing can be tricky at first, but especially fixed no brakes, it's easier since it doesn't have to be perfect.

need: one singlespeed chainring bolt. i might buy a new set, but if someone has one extra for some ****ed up reason, hey, awesome. a match made in bike heaven.

have: a bunch of little stuff like that. name it.

anyone have a front locking qr skewer?
i'm also still looking for a pair of 165 track cranks, and a matching bottom bracket.

i have a lot of different stuff, including a chrome backbone and a bunch of random parts. if you're interested, just ask and i can give a more complete list.

quick hint: pms or emails work great rather than posting a response that really only needs to be read by one person!

so then why would sirpoopalot respond to Ceya in the same manner Ceya did to Jesse M?

regardless of right or wrong, the irony is deafening.

man...i refuse to even try truing after i thought i could teach myself over the internet and ended up taco'ing a ****ty front wheel in the process. luckily the setup was like, quando hub laced to a cheap weinnman rim so it was the perfect canidate for failure. thought everything was cool, took my wheel for a test ride and "POP POP POP", i look down and the thing is trashed. i'm a dumbass. not gonna try again until i go to a wheel building class.

anyways for some reason veloshop was able to have my wheel done by the end of the day today, even when other shops were quoting me a week plus wait.
