Seeking Fixie, Nice Road 4 Trade

Hey I have a 54 cm Trek 1200 w/ bontrager and shimano tiagra/105 components - bontrager carbon fork/seatpost. aurora matrix wheels, panaracers... Pretty much a stock 1200 alu. frame w/ all the 1500 upgrades.

I'm looking for a fixie , 54-56 cm w/ riser bars - no mustache/drop/ram/bull etc. Only some sweet risers. Preferably true track frame but if its a nice convert i'll still be interested.

Get at me to speak about a transaction! PM me for pics, or email me at edward.chretien@mymail.champlain.edu

I have some nice messenger bags I picked up super cheap and I'm passing them on to the fine folks here on BF.

This bag is much nicer than your standard Timbuk2 type bag and cheaper to boot. It has all the features you would expect a quaility mess bag to have including easy to adjust straps, weather proof denier nylon, stash pocket, and an interior zippered pocket and pouch. As you can see in the pictures, this bag is big enough for a two year old or two cases of PBR for whichever stage in life you find yourself in. It's a very comfy bag, for the money you can't go wrong.

I can get the exact bag in a small if you never find yourself wondering how you're going to get that baby home on a bicycle.

The brand is "the backside". They make tents and sleeping bags and stuff too. There's nothing on their website about this particular bag, but they do have some backpacks. www.thebackside.com According to the tag on the bag, they come with a warranty against material and workmanship defects.

I NEED:
Track cranks and BB for my BFSSFG IRO SE. Not too picky.
Road Triple for my Touring bike. I have a 160mm road triple to trade.
Decent 9speed wheelset, including cassette is a plus.
9 speed bar end shifters. Actually any bar end shifters would be fine.
9 speed mountain cassette
9 speed chain.
XT rear Derailer.

Would like a 1 1/8" threadless track fork. Prefer flat crowned but not picky, colour and cosmetic condition don't matter.

Have Shimano 520 SPD pedals with platform clip-ins, (takeoffs from my road bike); mint green 2.0mm Champ grips new in package; black Cinelli cork tape.

Also wouldn't mind trading a 15t 1/8" Milwaukee/Ben's CNC cog for a 17t 1/8" of comparable quality; I'll throw in a few $$ if you have a used EAI or something.

PM me for more info.

why would i want to pay for shipping for BOTH frames? doesnt a trade mean i just ship mine to you and you ship yours to me and we each pay shipping for it to go out? if i wanted to or even could then id have offered to pay shipping for both frames in the first place. but i cant afford that. it costs me around $32 to ship a frame. i dont have another $32 to throw out the window. sorry

I have a 1980ish Soma Cosmopolitan. The BB and cranks are still on it but it needs a new BB. It also has a fork and headset. The cranks are Shimano Tourney. I also have the front and rear dia-compe center pull brakes off of it as well as their levers. The seat tube 47cm c-c and the top tube measures 52cm c-c. I'm 6'3" and have no use for it.

I'm looking for a longer stem (13 or 14cm) for what the Alpha Mercury specs on the website say is a 1" stem but I measured it and its 1 1/8" across (info?). Also I'd like a better saddle, a better/lighter-than-mine frame in a 59-62, nicer-than-stock 130bcd 165mm cranks or other bcd 165mm cranks and chainring...

Long story short I want to do some building up of the Alpha because I feel like the frame is the last thing (most expensive thing) to replace about it. Help me make a decent bike out of this.
