did you check to see that they are actually french threaded? Ets Fraysee refers to the bikes built at Paris Sport, the NJ-shop owned by Mike Fraysee. They apparently imported a lot of ****ty 10 speeds in the 70s (like so many other companies) but made high end road and track frames in the basement of the shop. I've got a Paris Sport track bike and its is English threaded (and originally built with mostly Japanese parts - Suntour bb, Suntour low-flanged hubs, sugino mighty cranks, nitto young stem). There are a few others in NYC that have come into the shops my friends work at and the frames are also English threaded.
Mike Fraysee recently started selling a lot of stuff on ebay and here is a blurb about him from an auction I recently won:
About Mike Fraysse: 1976 and '84 US Olympic Team Manager and 19-time World and Pan American Championship coach Mike Fraysse has been involved with the sport of cycling all his life. A fourth-generation cyclist whose grandfather founded what is today the United States Cycling Federation, Fraysse was a world-class racer with a National Championship title to his palmares before moving into the coaching role. In 1979 he brought Polish coach Eddie "B" Borysewicz over from the Eastern Bloc, and together the two went about revolutionizing the sport of cycling in America. Fraysse has had a hand in the development of such riders as Greg Lemond, Ron Kiefel, Alexi Grewal, Andy Hampsten, Davis Phinney, Betsy Davis, Connie Carpenter, Rebecca Twigg, Beth Heiden, Eric Heiden, Lance Armstrong, and Steve Woznik, to name just a few. For his contributions to the sport, in 1998 Fraysse became one of the only Americans ever to recieve the prestigious Merit Award from the UCI, cycling's world governing body, and later that same year he was inducted into the US Bicycling Hall of Fame.

for trade
52ish Ets Fraysse french track frame+ extras.
french headset and rare french SUGINO track bb. original "competition" bars and stem, seatpost and original tubular wheels, which i was told are normandy hubs to super competition tubulars. they were what came standard on the bike, but have no reverse lockring threads. basically just throwing these in for free.
lugwork is actually rather outstanding, paint is a sick sunburst fade with black pinstriping

want:
vintage road frame 52ish, preferably italian.
burly road wheels
you know.

My list of stuff for trade is a couple pages back, post# 4856. It's long so I thought I'd just reference to it. I now also have black/red/silver wellgo pedals, model WPD-981. The kind with a cleat on one side and a platform on the other.
Want:
Silver/alloy pedals. I have clips and straps but need pedals to match.
26.6 seatpost with significant setback.
Track bolts to convert a double crank into single.
One (or two if you got em) bar end brake lever, preferably silver
A saddle. Not really sure what I'm looking for here, but since I gave up on the Brooks I'm looking for something different to try out.
Shimano 8 speed rear derailluer, shimano 600 or ?
Thanks!

I'll trade my maroon Surly Steamroller 59 c-t frameset for a similarly sized Bianchi Pista frameset (prefer chrome). I'll give you my sugino RDs, 48t chainring, bb and seatpost. My steamroller is used so I'll take a used pista.
OR I will trade my Sugino RDs, 48t chainring, and BB for a 144 BCD 1/8" chainring with about 48T.
