I'm looking for a leather Kashimax aero saddle, I can't find one anywhere, so anyone who has one can contact me and see what kind of stuff I have to trade, mostly bars, wheelsets, hubs and stems.

Is that Kashimax aero different from the BMX kashimax aero? There are always a pile of those on eBay.

Same shape - but the BMX ones are all plastic. I did get to ride Judah's and it was pretty damn comfy for Kashimax. Perhaps the BMX ones would make good "beater" saddles.

Hey! I think I have one of those Kashimax aero saddles somewhere. It was seriously old/weathered; but I'll look around tonight and see if I can find it. Dolface or Judah, interested in one with rusty rails?

Edit: BMX? NJS? I don't know about that. The one I'm thinking of came off a 1982 Vista Aero Team bike with Dura Ace AX components. Dark blue suede, iirc. Aero. Yeah. That's the ticket!

Dolface I have these to trade for the old Japanese stuff, I am not sure if you are into GRILLZ but...

the sizing is pretty universal, I think they would fit.

And since you guys have the BESTEST TRADE THREAD EVAR... I'll post this for the third time.

.... The BB is FAR too wide, I just installed the thing and realized I've been smoking way too much. (Trust me, looking at a freshly installed BB that's almost a full centimeter too wide is not the best time to have that thought.) I'm a little guy, so what is an irrational Q-factor for me is likely small fries for someone around here.

So.

Have: Phil Wood BB, stainless steel, 119mm (R+4). Installed, heavenly, buttery, single-digit miles, way too wide.

Want: Same but <111mm. Maybe something comparable? (Still want the Phil BB, but if it takes a few jumps to get there....)

Also:

Have: 2002 Ultegra Triple (V1 spline), 175, well-scratched, ~5000 miles touring. Middle ring is well-worn, inner and big rings are close to untouched by chain.

Want: Ultegra Double (V1 spline), 165-167.5, whatever cosmetic condition, rings unimportant.

Thanks for reading.

What I have:

- ~53cm TT 80's Fuji Supreme frame, light grey, horizontal dropouts, some scrapes/scratches, no dents, still has Tange headset installed.

Also have parts from the above:

- Nitto 1in Threaded stem
- Fuji branded Sugino double cranks w/ chainrings (minus one dustcap)
- Christophe clips/straps and MKS (I believe) pedals
- Seatpost that fits the above frame (old standard size, I'm blanking on it)
- Pitted chop and flips from above bike, I actually believe they were Nittos as well, but the chrome was shot so I just chopped 'em

I basically have everything but the BB and wheelset for the frame (although I do have the old 27" wheels if you feel the urge to have them). I also have:

- Brand new Shimano Sora front brake

What I want:

- Cross lever
- Track drops ~42cm,
- Good saddle of some sort, used fine, preferably black or navy blue
- Long reach front brake
- grips for the drops

I figured I'd give this a shot since I just want to try drops on my Surly for a bit to see if I like them. And I have God's own front brake so I'd like something more modern.

Thanks!

The saddle I'm looking for looks like the one on my kiyo:

It's shaped like the Kashimax aero bmx saddle, but has a small amount of padding covered by leather. Kashimax aero saddles are NJS approved, yay!

If you're desperate, you could always buy one of the BMX ones, take it to a leather shop and have it covered.

You could even cover it with this:
