I'm about to get my new frame back from being painted and I need some wheels for it. I'd like a set of low-flange, 32h, silver, fixed-fixed Phil Woods. I can't really afford to spend the money right now, but I do have this fairly awesome beater track frame hanging up in my closet:

Here it is built up a few different ways:

st - 52.5cm c-c
tt - 52.5cm c-c

Geometry is aggressive, clearance is tight, expect toeverlap. Cheap seatpost (27.0mm), sealed Shimano BB, and quite nice FSA Duron headset included. Headset could use a good cleaning.

The bike is old, the paint is chipped badly, there are little surface rust spots here and there, and there is a repair at the joint between the DT and the BB shell. The fork is not original, but is a really nicely made flat crown, round blade track fork with shimano tips and no brake hole. It's definitely a rainy day, lock up, throw around, beater bike. It's British (complete with awesome wraparound seatstays), it's old and it has served me very well over the past few years. I love the thing, but I'm just not using it and I need wheels.

If you have a shop discount, this is a chance to get a great deal on this frame. We'd split shipping for both packages down the middle.

I have a '79 Schwinn World Sport. The paint isn't perfect but it would look amazing with a new coat or 3. The only original parts are the seat post and the frame. Shimano Dura ace front derailer, shimano 600 rear derailer, shimano 600 brake levers, shimano 600 calipers, shimano brake pads, shimano 600 cranks, new pedals, new wiring and tubing all around, vintage 27x 1 1/4 Samio Sminox wheels, new tubes, relatively new tires, new handlebars and stem, fuji velo saddle. I'm not sure of the specific size of the frame but I'm 5'7" and it's barely too big for me.

I want a fixie/single speed. Something reliable and fun. I finished this project and want something different.. I'm guessing somewhere around 50 or 52cm would fit me?

Have:
-57cm De Bernardi road frame. 90's vintage. Fully chromed Columbus Brain tubing with attractive lugwork. Internal routing for TT brake cable. DT shifter bosses. Braze-on derailleur hanger. No fork. The paint is red, but it's beat to hell. However, It appears to be fully chromed underneath, so you could just tear the paint off. This was some guys race bike. Pictures upon request.

Want:
-Sugino 75s.
or
-Path Racer frame. 55-57cm. Must have eyelets. That's my only requirement.

Thought I'd chime in here, as I've got a Bottecchia tt frame. The seat tube angle on most of these frames is very shallow, so your butt will literally be hanging over the wheel. Effective (i.e. level) tt measurements can be misleading.

The most effective way I've found to measure up these frames is to find your saddle-to BB length, saddle to bar (i.e. effective reach) distance, and saddle to bar drop on your current/favorite ride. If the seller is willing to go to the trouble, they can stick a saddle and stem in the bike, and measure it out for you. You should also know the standover.

You'll be able to play around with saddle setback and stem length/rise a fair bit, so getting a good fit should be doable, provided you're tall enough.
