Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? chicago bicycle film festival??!!

Ok chicago, I know your crew runs deep. brendt from the bff wants to bring the festival to chicago this year, but needs a serious, and professional network of people to help set it up. serious pros only for now. can you hook up a venue? a dope bar for bands? an art gallery for a show? contact brendt on the bff site and let him know how your the mayor of chicago. I know chicago has the people for this. network with him and help get him rolling. mike

i was trying to find a way to make the fact that 165 is a shorter crank length into a joke about your height...but no dice.

besides, that's mean, and we're never mean here--even in good fun, right?

note -
as per mikorp's post - if you know people or have ideas that are relevant to Chicago becoming a stop for the BicycleFilmFestival, email Brendt. Brendt probably will not read this.

PS> sponsors might help too. just a thought.

this is totally out of my ass, but besides that the music box has a schedule set pretty far in advance I thing they might do it, also the landmark or three penny cinima. I have a bunch of people I know who are involved in the film dept at Columbia college so I will toss this their way and see if they got any connections.

i contacted Brendt and gave him the email to Film Row Theatre, part of Columbia College's Film Department. i will also talk to the head of Film Row and see what else i can do.
