I Like Konas. I'm glad they're building a fix. that doesn't look too bad. The stem is kinda wierdy beardy, but that's purely an aesthetic thing.

Where'd you find that anyway? I can't find anything about it on Kona's website.

Hot frame. Love the fender eyelets, straight blade fork, and dual water bottle bosses.

When did this come out? its not in the 2006 catalog or anything

I been waiting for Kona to do a fixed bike, speshly since they've had ss bikes for a zillion years.

I was hoping they'd do a fix version of the Smoke, and I guess the Rush Hour is kind of like that - coming with fenders, brakes, levers, freewheel, track cog, and totally entry level cheap. Maybe they should be the ones who do a complete bike that comes with a straight or riser bar.

A SS/Fixed version of the Dr. Dew would be badass

i work at a shop that carries Kona....
friends w/ a couple inside guys..
been in talks for the last year and a half...out next year...a little more $$$ than a pista...
still think "Band-Wagon" is a better name...guess Kona didn't think so.

Paddy Wagon is kind of a dumb name. I hope they rethink it.

my shop carries kona too, I guess thats why I was suprised to hear it on here first. I'm suprised they aren't using the standard black stright blade fork that comes on the unit, smoke, dew, jake etc. it would look nicer

yeah, that's def. the part i'm most curious about. what cranks and hubs they decide to go with. most go with uninteresting truvativ cranks and no name hubs.

That thing is seriously ugly, if you ask me. Which you don't, but it still sucks.

Yay! Kona doing a fix is good news, they tend to opt for a better component group on bikes where there is a narrow market. Also, that bike would look a lot less old-mannish if you flipped the stem. Pretty fork.

this bike is still pre-production...as I mentioned above.
The owner of this bike put mix-match parts on it as a rain commuter...
(ie: old 105 sq taper crank & BB)

Kudos to kona if they put fender eyelets on that thing, but the frame is still ugly. Mainly the colour and that nasty decal.
