Yea. I've rocked one for a few years now. I feel naked without it.

If you get one, get the locking type. Better for while you ride.

is tubring's keyboard player still drooling all over himself/standing on the keyboard stand while paying them? i saw them 4 years ago in a fest in a field in NW wisconsin. it's was great. they're awesome. at least they were then, i'm sure my musical tastes wouldn't be too appreciative nowadays.

I can't stand having keys in my pocket. divorced parents + staying at grandparents house sometimes + bike locks + seperate keys for trunk and ignition + opening and closing 2 different stores I worked at = more keys than I could comfortably walk around with in my pocket.

Now I'm comfortable I'm just paranoid my belt loop will break.

With aplomb.

Well damn, I never really realized how far this "trend" went back. Either way a 6 person band all having one distinct thing like that is just creepy in my opinion. At least I got to shout at them to put their keys in their pockets where god intended them to be.

I rock one ever since my last bad endo where I managed to lose both my wallet AND keys while flying over the handlebars. I take solace in the fact that while I may look like even more of a hipster, at least now I'll actually be able to get into my house for first aid equipment to staunch the bleeding...

i personally put all my keys on one of these trigger snap things and put it on my belt loop.

https://www.kayakfishinggear.com/cata...ap_3254178.htm

just as secure as a 'biner. much classier though. and smaller.

same here. i had the swivel of one of those things break off on a ride once, and the keys were gone forever. this was also back during my "ny chain around my waist" ******baggy days, which unfortunately was before my "carry spare keys in my bag" days.

like brunop says, i have a lot that i use for climbing purposes and would just put my keys on one while i was climbing and just transferred that from climbing into everyday life, unlike everybody elses biner saying "not for climbing use", mine says "for climbing use only"

so in reality i'm using it for the wrong purpose, but what the hay.

yeah it's been a hipster trend for a few years now at least, so much so that it's branched out into the general population-- the current one i'm wearing is an advertising gimmick for animeigo.com. so yeah, i'm 100% unashamedly guilty of said trend... i mean, **** if it isn't the most convenient way to carry around your keys. i would've lost mine by now otherwise. so whateverrrrrr

haha, same reason i had a chain wallet. I started when I was like 10 years old and lost my wallet with all of probably 5 dollars in it. chained it to myself ever since.

Well, my Wallmart has them at the checkout and now the stretchy-pant ladies are going to have them so do you think the hipsters will be sporting them for long? In other words it has always been about fashion, not utility.

for me i use one because i need to not for fashion reasons- they are popular for a reason, theyre easy and available everywhere- i got a professional one that locks not that i use that function very often but its nice to have--much better than those cheap emo/indie/punk style whiner 'biners you can get @ for a buck or so- pure garbage those things- its hardcore in design and execution-i like to buy things once ideally- imo that applies to something as mundane as a keychain- does what i need it to do it does it alot and is well made- its peace of mind and will probably last forever- this biner kills all others- i love it.

Rock and Roll Pizza is sorta weird how you've gotta stay within the cage in the back to drink, where you can't really see the bands too well. My friends the Wobblies and the Black Market Babies play there sometimes.
