Get out and ride!!!!! It is so amazingly nice out!!!! I got about an hour and a half in before having to start work - I was even riding in just a jersey, armwarmers and a t-shirt for about half of it!

Oh, and if you don't know it already, a section of the Cedar-Lake trail is closed for electrical work, right by Dakota Park. It was open again by the time my detour ended where it goes under Cedar-Lake parkway. It kind of sucked to have to stop and figure out a new route - it was a little chilly once the sweaty clothes cooled off...

Yes, yes, yes!!!!! Such a wonderful day out. Too bad I have to spend the rest of the evening moving, still in Uptown though. I've been outside most of the day anyway, there's no excuse for me staying inside on a day like this.............. well, maybe sex.

Yeah the weather outside is delightful and for the most part I've been mixing up riding my Rollo 1 speed, running the Lakes and walking the dog or whatever since the beginning of October when I switched from my geared bike. Since I'm over fifty I wanted to get back to a simple ride and the freewheel 1 speed fit the bill. Hey, just a thought. But isn't MPLS. ready for a bike revolution? Like with all these facilities and great alt routes shouldn't the streets be jammed? Maybe you got to be wired from the time you were a kid to know the joy of biking. One other thought....If this generation coming up is wired to their cell phone do you think they would ever conceive to use this mobility to ride share? Like hitchhiking in my day. Put some sorry car manufacture out of business maybe?

The rain wasn't too bad for me - but I forgot to turn in my timecard before leaving. I went in, filled it out, came back outside, and it was done. I was happy.

What qualifies as tonight after work? For me that's probably not until 9 or 10...

I'm stuck at work until 9 or 10, but I'd be down for a global warming beer ride tonight...

I got in trouble for wearing shorts to work today

Mark!!!!!!
Where have you been? Seems like forever that I've seen you out on a Sat. night ride. But then again, I have not been out on a Sat. night since last September. And I haven't seen you on the boards either, what have you been up to? Are you still together with the ladyfriend?

I'm down for Sat night, anyone else here coming out?

What's going on for tonight, any of you guys coming out? I would really like to see you guys and put some miles in. I'm trying to get my endurance back to where it was so I won't totally bonk out during Stupor Bowl. If not today, annyone down for doing some riding these next few days?
I've commited myself to getting no less than 25 miles a day up until next Sat. PM me if you are up for it.........
