Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Pink saddle

I know many people are fans of the San Marco Regal and that many people also are fans of pink stuff. If any of you in the first group are also in the second group, you might want to look at this:

Look at the way the dye is coming off. You can get the same effect with a white saddle, and a can of pink spraypaint (tape off the rivets)

I did a pair of worn out combat boots once with a can of pink spraypaint. It held up quite well over the black, especially considering how well my boots help up in general

every dyed leather saddle i've used has discolored. jeans turn your white saddles blue and your yellow saddles green pretty quickly.

i think i saw a pink fizik arione in colorado cyclist or excel sports catalog. one of those. of course, pink aint my thing and $100+ is way too much to pay for a saddle, but it'll look hot on somebody's bike

I don't think one buys a pink saddle to ride on it.
