I roll 'em both, wear tubesocks and booties so's I don't get cold. I don't spend a lot of time in my biking clothes when I'm not riding.

I ran shoelaces through the hem of a couple pairs of pants so I can tie them up above my calves when riding. Constantly rocking the manpris.

giboyeux (sp?) rocks full-on hiking gaiters, and they seem like they'd be perfect for those nasty slushy days.

Me? I wear long underwear ALL the time in the winter, whenever I leave the house, and when I ride I roll both legs up pretty high. I hate having a big denim roll flapping around my leg, so I snug it right up below my knee.

Women's capris (form-fitting, stretchy, cheap at any old used clothing place - black). Climbing knickers.

Underneath: black runners tights, no chamois. Or knicker skiing shants johns (helly Hansen makes a real nice pair, mesh-like and comfy) with wool ski/snowboard socks.

Golden.

I made the mistake once of riding w/ out rolling up my pantleg. I figured "meh...only a couple blocks, no need to roll". Less than a minute later as I was arcing through the air, upside down, I realized it wasn't such a good idea. After I cleaned the blood up, put my chain back on and got home to medicate with a gin and tonic I realized that both my car keys and my wallet had somehowe disapeared in the fiasco. When I went back, both were no where to be found. The end result? I have now had a nissan 240sx parked in front of my house for over three months because I no longer have keys for it, and I always roll my pants, no matter how stupid it looks.

Cut off jeans at all times of the year. The only difference between seasons is whether I wear tights underneath and how high up my socks go.

I was riding to a nearby friends house, so i just rolled one leg up and let my ankle be chilly for the 2 minutes or so that i was on the bike (Normally I wear leg warmers and cutt offs or rolled pants). When locking up, this guy walked by and said "Good weather for riding huh?" (There was snow on the ground, but not much), then he told me "You need one of these" and gave me one of those velcro ankle things and insisted I keep it. It's nifty. Nice guy too.

Yeah...I just haven't felt like spending the money to get it done. I've got an audi A4 for when I need a car right now. I like to think of the nissan as my little four wheeled bank account. I figure with the ******** "drift" craze I should be able to sell it to some high school dip**** for about four times what the POS is actually worth.

I'm rocking Under The Weather shants. Best biking pants evar. When it's cold, I wear a gore-tex faced lycra tight underneath to keep the quads and nuts warm. Other than the giant silver light on the top of my helmet, I am suitably courier-esque.

Those shants are soooo ugly. They're like a cut off version of a rayon tracksuit your fat landlady would wear. I'm sure they look good on you, though.
