I'll start off by apologizing for the **** ton of pictures.
My ride starts off here:
This is where I enter the "riverbed":
The first homeless camp I see:
Looking down towards the port:
This is a strange little area in the middle of suburban long beach where a few people have built stables in their back yards:
One of the many graffitti covered underpasses:
Where the "river" goes from concrete to rock:
...you might be a redneck.
Another homeless camp:
For any monster garage fans:
and finally:
I took a bunch more pictures, but a lot of them were either really blurry (maybe next time I should stop my bike before taking pictures) or they came out like this:

Yeah, I do. I actually like the path. Sure, its ghetto, but its pretty smooth and theres always stuff to see. The day I took the pictures a homeless guy jumped off of the anaheim overpass. Fun stuff. I grew up in the el dorado park area, and the san gabriel riverbed is far worse.

This thread has been sinking. Time to give it a another yank from Norman, Oklahoma.
Weekday morning at my bike rack.
One of my regular ride "companions." When you weigh 20,000 tons, you don't have to share the road.
No bike racks, please. This is Main Street, U.S.A.
