HELP with my new mercier ASAP
ok i know it's a cheap mercier and some people don't like it, but please help me. I've waited over two weeks for it. Ok so i built the whole thing. i get to the wheel. it's 700 x 23c tire so i start to place it on the fork holes but when both sides are in, the tire is way past the bottom tube. it seems the wheel is tooo big for that little fork. help me. i want to ride now.......

i figured that much. i thought about calling a guy for a second, but ever since hillary c. and condi rice, i decided that there was a simple answer to my problem. It's ok guys have fun.
as for a pic. i am sooo embarssed. It's that damn black mercier sprtymama sells on ebay. I was excited until i read everyone talking about how horrible the parts were. I know i should be proud. As soon as a get a nice set of wheels and a stem i'll post it. That way my penis doesn't seem so small.

sorry to say that the penis will remain small until it gets njs certified. those are the rules these days (even for girls) --- it takes more than shiny wheels to cut it in this world.

and the people that ruin those parts would ruin most parts, so just because some say that they are not good doesn't mean that a ton of other people will think that they are good enough. you know? i'm sure that bike will be a fine ride for a long time, and when and if the parts crap out for you, you've got plenty of suggestions here. have a fun ride!

search for "roto-fixa" or something similar on the net, it should provide you with a decent way of tightening the cog in the back by using the chain of your bike as a tightening tool. as for the lockring, someone chime in with one of those methods to do it without proper tools? hammer and screwdriver?
