This thread is my long overdue love letter to the people who have been frickin awesome this month. First of all props to everyone on BF for the suggestions on Berlin. I followed just about all of them and had a damned good time. Cicli and Keirin were great and through them I had a damned good time. Had a frickin blast at the ice race on the neuesee, drank at some great bars, and hung out in a great city. Mad props to Bragen and Kai who really hooked me up with a good time and I strongly suggest that if you roll in to town there you try to find Bragen. Good dude. Everyone gives a shout out to Henry from here.

Next, huge love to Oz for helpin out with Amsterdam and Freddiesan and Boe and the whole Stockholm crew for showing a ton of hospitality on an all too short visit to a kick ass city. Where most of the people here ***** about "scene" this and "hipster" that, Boe and his crew own the frozen north hard all year round. Mtn, cycloX, fixed, trackbikes, whatever the hell it is that dude and his crew roll deep as f*ck all year round with damned near no love, specially from the roadie, spandex, messengers in that city. Freddiesan knows how to treat a brother good as hell too and I strongly reccommend hitting Thai food with him, the man knows his spots. Bummer the bikes weren't built up yet.

Finally huge huge love to the 1% crew and especially Fixedpip with whom I had a damned fine time yesterday. The whole crew has just been solid as hell these last few weeks with members winning 1st and 4th in the Valentines day alleycat (Techone/Fixedpip respectively) and the invincible team F*ck Yeah (Tresspasser, Momentum, and I) taking bike polo by the cojones and making it our biatch (1st place what!) in between some kickass spontaneous group rides/drinking during the week. A huge amount of love to Pip who stuck with my dumb ass yesterday afternoon when I kicked my own ass hard enough to land up in the hospital p*ssing blood (only traces thank god) and with a f*ct right hand from 4:00pm-8:00pm. Fortunately the crash was only after an awesome sunny day of riding down to Witcomb cycles in Deptford, the last framebuilder in London. It is now official, instead of getting a tattoo I'm gonna throw down for a custom frame as a permanent memento of a great year.

So in conclusion, much love to everyone who's been cool this month and especially to Pip for dragging my dumb ass to the hospital and staying there with me.

Here's some pics just so I don't leave ya hanging.

well done jimbob, well done indeed. If you look at the shot of the pole in the middle you can see where my side made it's home before dropping me to the ground. That sh*t made the awesomest sound. The trackstander by the river is pip. Notice the 1% sign he's flashing.

First, you're a soppy f*cker - grow a pair and stop being so emo.

Second, that sounds sore as ****. Glad you're ok and big up to Pip.

Third, it's good having you here and I think a custom 1% headbadge would make the frame a good memento.

Haha - i was waiting for that. Hope your bike is alright after laying it on the road. Mine is sweet. Cleaned the chain and put on the 75s with a NOS Campag chainring that Brixton cycles found me. Whole thing is tight and smooth.

You able to ride at the moment, maybe on Weds?

Back to thread - it's nice that you love us and I love you too. Your spurts of love are very gratifying.
