I have a bookmark for the ss/fg forum in my toolb ar, I just click on a thread I want to read, and when I finish, I click my bookmark. If that same thread is in bold, I click it again and read the new posts, if not, I click on another thread, and repeat...

MLPROJECT 02-27-06 09:29 PM

i view it with a computer and a monitor

See that 'view new posts' button up top? I hit that a lot.

Advocacy & Safety forum (I guess I just can't get enough of helmet/earphone/bike-lane debates.), followed by commuting, followed by SS & fixed-gear. Save the best for last ;).

Rarely ever peek into the others. Checked out the "Alt Cycling Culture" forum when it was first added, but I have neither a large garage, a welder, nor a bunch of time on my hands so I'm better off avoiding that one, lest I get the urge to start constructing tall-bikes ;).

You're right. I lied. I'm actually usually covered in mayonaise or vaseline, depending on how long it's been since I went to the grocery store.

I read the mechanics forum when I have a problem.

Road / mountain forums scroll too fast for me to keep up with.

Commuting is interesting sometimes.

As is "alt bike culture" when it's not someone asking questions about their stock Dyno Cruiser.

I read fixed / ss whenever the hive mind taps me on the shoulder and tells me to spend more money.

leunkstar 02-28-06 03:58 AM

I start with Classic & Vintage by middlemousebutton (thats 'open in new tab' in firefox) every new item.
Once finished i proceed to SS/FG and do the same but you bastards generate so much text here i keep on reading for hours in the end ;)

Campy makes an abacus, but it is base-6, and thus not compatible with JIS abacuses (which are base-5). However, Phil Wood makes an abacus base-converter that allows you to transfer data easily between JIS and Campy (ISO) abacuses.

Am I the only one that still rides a freakin' bike?
