Toolshed: Martin Puryear is amazing. An old roomate of mine is one of his assistants. An amazing man that is truely one of americas greatest living artists.

my first choice was Circle A, so I have one of those on the way. Next would probably be Johnny Coast. I like very simple, straightforward... nothing too ornate

Eisentraut

Stone's!

Yeah, I go and drool through the window while waiting for a table at La Piñata.

are they road or track bikes? eisentraut track bikes are the rarest of the rare.

I've only seen road bikes, but I suspect the owner has one of those mythical "back rooms" that look sort of like the warehouse from "Raiders of the Lost Ark".

a buddy of mine in minneapolis bought a road frame with zero braze ons for a steal (like 200ish)

the lugwork, fork crown, and binder bolt are all beautiful

I'll be there.

right now I have 2 IFs, which I love.
I'd get another and I'd be interested in a Vanilla.
It is my goal to NOT buy anything this weekend.

There was an Eisentraut track for sale on NYC craigslist a few weeks back... absolutely gorgeous bike -- asking $1200 (probably worth it, but still a lot of coin.)
