IRO bottom bracket height / crank selection
I'm (once again) looking into buying a complete from IRO. I'll be going with a 53cm steel road frame-- probably the Mark V, but I won't rule the Angus out quite yet.
Since the IRO has somewhat "relaxed" road geometry, should I expect the bottom bracket to be lower than that of a track bike? Should I get 165mm cranks or 170s?

The BB level is heightened. 170s are still fine as long as you're not tackling the corners like a badass. 165's if you want to shell out 200+ for track style cranks and chainring.

yeah, second that, I've had zero clearance issues on the mark v pro (knock on wood), in fact if anything the BB might even be higher than even some track bikes.

haven't had any overlap problems either. my frame is a 59, and i ride with MKS gr-9s and the MKS steel toeclips (the extra large ones).

I have a 53 Mark V Pro. There is some very minor toe overlap with size L MKS toe clips on. So minor its more like toe brush than real overlap. When I had Mediums there was no overlap, but I also wasn't quite getting enough foot on the pedal...
