The Rear Dismount: it's as cool as Sheldon says it is

The Rear Dismount: it's as cool as Sheldon says it is

I might not have done much today, but I did learn how to do a rear dismount, so I'm happy with myself. I must've slow-mo'd the part in Quicksilver where Kevin does it 50 times, thinking 'what just happened there'? Well, I got it. And it feels good.

It's not hard to do, but fraught with the potential for a horrible and glorious accident.
Also, it's a little too "cool" for me to do on a regular basic.
I can't help but feel like a ******.

OK juvi, maybe I should start a thread about my trip to Cleveland. That would be more interesting.

Yeah, I love the rear dismount. Too bad my driveway and garage are such a mess I can't do it at my own house.

and the rear dismount is only cool when you are goin extremely fast and throw your legs up and grab your saddle, like a superman seatgrab over a twenty-foot set of doubles.

Last I heard, it was still in Long Beach. Along with my folder that may end up as a folding fixie.
