this might be dumb, but am i the only one with this problem?

Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

i can trackstand for days at most lights, provided i can get my left forward without getting into the intersection. but i turn the wheel left, left foot forward, and i can only look at the light or to the left. i turn my head right, and there goes the trackstand. every time. if i roll my eyes to the right as far as they go...that's all i can do.

i lose at trackstands and looking right simultaneously.

I always sit when trackstanding.
I find that looking around while trackstanding just takes more practice.
At first I couldnt do it at all and now I can look side to side pretty freely.

Usually when balancing it helps to pick one point. Just practice looking around, it will come. I tend to turn my head to the left(left foot forward), but also, have to look right for traffic.
