Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Someone get me a torrent

He was working on a SS - that's related

Watching a best of Monty Python tonight, they had a spoof where everyone in the world looks like a super hero. Except one guy has to change into overalls to fix bikes, because that's the real super hero. "Look at him turn that nut with that spanner!'

I laughed my ass off and want to see it again - someone PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE find me a link to that skit.

Thanks!

digitaldistractions.org has torrents of the best of monty python. i'm not sure which best of that would be. Michael Palin probably, but it goes mostly by who wrote the sketch, and not who acts as the main character.

I saw that last night, as well. Check out episode 34: The Cycling Tour. Something about lashing hard boiled eggs to the handlebars with adhesive tape, self-ejecting tomatoes, and Trotsky. ****ing hilarious.

I only have a link to the script, however.

First, download the flv using a site like KeepVid. You can use MPlayer to view the flv directly. If you'd rather have it in a more conventional format, you can do something like
Code:
ffmpeg -i original.flv -ab 56 -ar 22050 -b 500 -s 320x240 output.avi
