Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

What helmet?

I need a new helmet, and I have a very large head. Anybody recommend one with good protection for relatively cheap, that isn't all roadie-riffic? I dont want a MTB or a BMX helmet (not that BMX helmets would EVER fit on me).

Thanks for any recs.

bell metro is good- they've also got a slightly cheaper version with the same styling.
If you can find last year's giro xen on close out, they're great.
The giro semi is also really comfy, but a bit warm in the summer.
