I'm not a big fan myself mainly because it makes me ride stupidly and I tend to have a thimble-sized bladder when I drink. I'd rather save the boozing for after.

Yep.
Back when I was drinking, I left a much loved Schwinn World Sport unlocked outside a bar where I was getting drunker still. Man, I miss that bike.

Most times I ride to a bar I end up putting on my helmet and gloves after the night is over and then just walk off with whoever I was drinking with, totally forgetting about my bike locked up outside the bar. Then I have to go and pick it up the next day and hope it hasen't been punked. It really sucks if the bar is far away and I need my bike the next morning....

In the 80's I used to fill one of my waterbottles with bourbon and take
off on day trips. I have many, many stories of stuff that went wrong.
Ive been only using coffee and water for a long time now and stuff
only seems to be getting 'righter' now. Who woulda ever figured

drunk riding, though...i don't have a problem with, except personally. i've had too many mishaps while drinking, mostly ones i could laugh off or this or that, but i'm just sort of tired of it.

Drinking and riding isn't bad until you get totally hammered and then STILL decide to ride your bike home. For me...I broke an arm crashing into a curb
