Stem question - consider this safe?

Hi,

I just got this really cool titanium threadless stem from ebay, it should be for a 26mm bar but when I install my bullhorns, definitely 26mm, and tighten the stem it goes like this: (check the image)

Bolts seem to be titanium too if it matters anyhow, just the same color as the stem and don't weight anything compared to steel ones. I'm totally new to titanium and this type of stems made from any material so please help me out!

OK one pic of just the stem, IBS Titanium, 1", 90mm, 0 degree, just perfect for me!
