Great for lake jumping..... but then it de-laminates.

There used to be a bike parked in my neighborhood (here in Somerville, MA) that seemed to be a homemade job with a similar concept - it was several sheets of some sort of heavy-duty plastic (lucite, I imagine) sandwiched together to make a frame. It was pretty awesome.

im totally going to try to make this....but i want to make it out of aluminum....hell now that i REALLY REALLY REALLY thought about it, the idea is totally viable. think about it...you could easily sketch/draw the form/frame in solid works then save and export it as (dxm?) file to be sent out to a machine shop...i think a three point CNC router would get the job done. hell...this is so easy! now if i only had a financial backer........i would change a few things however....the bb shell and head shell would have to be more elgant. the current design is poopy. but it can be worked around.
