Crank Question
How tough would it be to use this crank on a track bike (please see attached)? Are Crank Arms hard to find for these? Sorry if this is a dumb question, I am a Newbie.

That is a chainring and looks to be for OPC's, not very usable on a track bike

You just need bmx cranks. Totally easy to do. I wouldn't go calling it a "track" bike though, as everyone who is making fun of you for calling a chainwheel a crank will get all uppity again, but as the links show this is totally doable. What I can't remember is what the standard BMX chainline is, so you might have annoying chainline issues.

you can get those bulletproof bmx cranks, and not have to mess with the one piece crank. still, chainline...i'm still not totally sure what size BB is needed to keep a 42mm chainline (or close).

There a 3 piece bmx cranks. Not real sure how you'd hook it all up, but I think it could be done. Probably more work than a newbie would want to mess with, though.

Get a crank/bottom bracket combo like this:

Euro (JIS) BB, with a crankset that will fit that chainring. Super-heavy, pretty expensive, and the bearings will wear out pretty quick. But, you will have a pretty sharp looking drivetrain.
