Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

There's a ride over in St. Paul leaving from the Sibley Bike Depot and running out along the Gateway Trail this morning. We'll do a little grilling and have a picnic at the end of the line, then head back.

Meet at the bike depot (9th and Sibley in downtown St. Paul) between 10:30 and 11am. Ride departs at 11am.

If you've got questions or need directions or anything, feel free to call my cell (a new toy) at six one two hyphen eight six zero hyphen two niner zero niner.

Hmm... MacG just called talking about a ride out on the Gateway Trail that's leaving from the Sibley Bike Depot in an hour or so... Sounds interesting...

[edit]
Oops, kind of late with that...

So MacG and I ended up running to Wisconsin to buy cheap beer in cans. Not sure why.

Anyone else get a good ride in?

Stupid server ate my post...

NEways, ended up being probably 70 miles according to Gmaps Pedometer.

Saw more bikes than I've ever seen in one day today. We ran into the MS150. At LEAST 600.

It was nuts.

I'm tired.

I stink.

I need a shower.
