Bridge Battle II
NYC
We dont got a lot of topography below 114th, so climbing bridges is what we do for hill training.
SATURDAY MAY 13th. 2PM:RACE. 1PM REGISTRATION @ 23rd st and the FDR (in the waterfront park, not on the highway. dumb ass.)
SIDEVENTS: Footdown, stands, skids, sprints, (please someone think of something new, please) to follow at Bicycle Film Festival Street Festival, hosted by Trackstar.
All of this to be followed by Messenger Night at the festival. and then a party somewhere with a bunch of DJs.
It's a festival with side festivals, I'm sure it will all be very festive.
Maybe you'll learn more by watching a complimentary instructional video at MESSnyc.net

ive thought about doing the urban rodeo thing. it would be a good time. barrel racing would be awesome.
you could also do stuff that involved throwing something at a target while riding or something like that

I took a look at my fixed this evening and I dont think she is up to the ride tomorrow. I will have to ride my mtb with slicks. It will give my achy knee a rest.

woke up a bit late to race, but i hung out for the side events.
can't believe that guy held up for 15 backwards circles and some of the skid distances.
