Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

What hub is this?

The gold one, in the background? Is that a gold Phil SLR?

My guess would be a Gaansari. which is just a Paul, anodized gold.

but it's surrounded by crazy anodized NJS bling, so that makes me unsure......

That picture is great. It has three levels of mystery to it. 24 bucks says that was taken at Yojimbos or some other blingy bike shop.

Haha. It was indeed taken at Yojimbos. The wheels there are mine and Marcus has been keeping me updated with photos. It's funny because every time he sends me photos of the stuff I'm buying there's a whole slew of random parts lying around in the background. It's become a game for me to try and identify all the random parts lying around.

that's at the shop. it's a gold Paul hub surrounded by gold anodized Nitto 123AA bars, and a mix of gold anodized & silver Nitto Jaguar stems.

We layed out all the gold stuff we just got in so we could drool over it.

they match pretty well. The drops & hubs & stems are almost perfect. There's a little variation, but you onl really notice if if they're next to each other. On a bike it would all look the same. the bullhorns are a bit different, though.

Maybe its just me but I think all the gold **** is hideous. I prefer the stealth look to bling.
