So, riding home with a friend tonight, I realized I needed a beater. I had an old bumbike wheelset, but twas really bum.

Thus:

Taken from garage in my building...

Old Raleigh road frame (I once used as conversion for a minute): free
Random crankset, chainring and stem: free
26" wheelset, shimano coaster brake: free
Sweet bars off same bike: free

Cruisin and skiddin in Downtown Oakland: Priceless

getting tossed off your bike by a gang of kids in downtown oaktown: priceless
