I went looking at apartments yesterday. Chained up in the back of a place that I probably am going to be renting were two tenspeed looking bikes. One was a Panasonic and the other I don't know yet. I didn't want to look too interested just in case they turn out to be somthing I would offer to buy.

I went back tonight to take some stealth photos but it was way dark bak there and I didn't want to arouse suspision but I managed to get a snap of the Panasonic. As some of you know I am totally newb to fixed riding in fact I am still awaiting my first ride, a Mark V expected 5/10. But tell me, what do you think of this bike? I am going back soon and will take better detailed pics of this one and the other similar one its chained up with in some better light.

I'd say less than 62.. maybe a 59/60

It obviously isnt being used. Id say check it out if you like it leave a note on it offering to buy it. If you dont get a response then talk to the landlord/manager of the complex and talk to them about how long its been there if its been awhile you might be able to talk them into letting you have it. I did this once and scored a nice fuji sagres road bike for free cept the prcie of paper that I used leaving notes at the doors
of folks around the place.

theres vintage bike near my house that is having no one taking care of it.. i think i may ask if i could have it..

Check out the dropouts... if they are quality, go for it. Stamped metal = not worth your time.
