the only thing wrong with obey is the insanely overpriced clothing/accessories. mr. fairey inspired a ton of people and still does top notch screenprinting though. defacing people's bags is wack.

but you should definitely take advantage of people's willingness to pay for aforementioned insanely overpriced clothing/accessories and sell that vandalized bag to some sap on ebay.

my theories:

maybe its a statement of a sort. using a played out visual/idea to represent and make a statement about other things that are played out as well.

OR

maybe dosoner actually did it himself and wrote the OP to test the waters, and once he realized as slopppy put it, "is whack" he played it off like someone else did it.
