Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

This book kicks ass. Highly recommended.

The cop selling hot frames out of his bathtub, after being lovingly wiped down with baby lotion is the *****, too.

Written by a friend and former prof of mine. He rides a Ti 'bent like a madman. His other one has a killer fairing on it. By the way, the raygun collection featured inside was sold to David Copperfield for a cool mill.

Links to the Copperfield sale? That's crazy.

Oh, and the statement about ragunner being wiped down with lotion can be easily misconstrued. I mean to say his frames are gently carressed in the tub, not his self..
