Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

flite leather peeling away

So I've had my selle italia flite genuine gel for about 3-4 months now, and I really like it. Problem is, I've noticed recently that the leather is begining to peel away (just the topmost layer) on the sides where I guess my legs would chafe and also a bit on the back. Anyone else have this problem? I ride in jeans mostly, so could some bad combination of stitching on both saddle and pants leads to tearing? This thing really worth 70 bucks?
