So the radio station where I work is doing this project in which we are soliciting letters from prisoners across the US and Canada.

We got one today from Ted Kaczynski.

My mom ate at a banquet in Ethiopia put on by Haile Selassie in the 70s. She said that the comparison between the decadence of the banquet inside and the poverty of the people outside was striking and very saddening.

Hey shesmyrushmoree-

I have a serious question -- are you riding regular ol' pedals fixed? I'm coming from being a bmx kid 25 years ago, so clipless & toestraps freak me out a little. If platform pedals are seriously viable as a fixed option, I might try it out.

though with a really low gear ratio, it'd be better. see article: fixed polo bikes, for instance.

anyway...nwo that the real person has shown up...is this going to be the next nathan fabian meme? i don't think this photo has quite as much panache. fabian got old, but now that things have levelled off...i do have to say that it was all pretty funny.
