OK.

So the radio station where I work is doing this project in which we are soliciting letters from prisoners across the US and Canada.

We got one today from Ted Kaczynski.

Why are you people still posting? Matthew A Brown wins. Nothing any of you have experienced will be even marginally important or interesting compared to this.

Matthew A Brown, sir, I salute you.

EDIT EDIT: To redeem this post...my dad shook hands with His Imperial Majesty Haile Selassie I once, on the docks. Just walked up to him and stuck his hand out, knowing that most people will reflexively shake hands with you if you do this. He just wanted to be able to say that he had done it. So, I've shaken the hand that shook the hand of the Conquering Lion of the Tribe of Judah.

My mom ate at a banquet in Ethiopia put on by Haile Selassie in the 70s. She said that the comparison between the decadence of the banquet inside and the poverty of the people outside was striking and very saddening.

I think I dig his forearm tattoo.

SD Fixed 05-30-06 11:41 PM

This **** is funny now. Some one talks smack and the real person comes to post.

Where are all the people in the beggining who talked all that ****?

Oh yeah, quiet now.

Hyper, I love the Cdale. Kicks @SS.

HexagonSun 05-31-06 03:05 AM

i'm here. i called the forearm tattoo emo. but like, i totally meant that in the nicest way possible. really.

but who takes anyone on here seriously anyway? except for kyle... he keeps it real.

joelv 05-31-06 04:58 AM

Hey shesmyrushmoree-

I have a serious question -- are you riding regular ol' pedals fixed? I'm coming from being a bmx kid 25 years ago, so clipless & toestraps freak me out a little. If platform pedals are seriously viable as a fixed option, I might try it out.

Matthew A Brown 05-31-06 10:19 AM

Flats + fixed = sketchy. Even with a front brake.

humancongereel 05-31-06 04:34 PM

though with a really low gear ratio, it'd be better. see article: fixed polo bikes, for instance.

anyway...nwo that the real person has shown up...is this going to be the next nathan fabian meme? i don't think this photo has quite as much panache. fabian got old, but now that things have levelled off...i do have to say that it was all pretty funny.

The platforms actually make this cat cooler than Natty Fab

You brought the bird back? **** that noise!

ZachS 05-31-06 08:52 PM

imagine the dude on the gold bike doing the natty fab in place of the bird and you'll see in your mind's eye what i am too lazy to make.

space_robots 05-31-06 10:50 PM

Imagine a gold naga triple tandem with Nathan Fab, smoking dude, and the mini-bike guy riding it, all doing Natty Fabs, simultaneously. No wait, make it a quadruple tandem so the lemon-bike guy won't be left out. And there is the birthday horse in the sky.
