Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

2006 Lemond Fillmore - OX Platinum

There's been some discussion about this, whether or not the 2006 Fillmore is still True Temper OX Platinum or a lower grade steel. Well, it is:

What frame material is used for the 2006 Fillmore? I've read on the
Lemond website that True Temper OX Platinum tubing is used, but that
seems to contradict some other information floating around. Please help
me sort this out once and for all.

Thanks for your email.

While the catalog says simply 'Cro Moly', it is in fact true temper OX
