Wheel question...

Before someone busts my balls ... yes I did a search

Heres the situation, I scored an older Nishiki Olympic 12 for barely anything and its actually in really awsome shape for the age an price. I realize the bike is a low end frame, however I also realize I have to many other hobbies to blow big money on something truly exotic or nice. This being said ... I have a real appreciation for quality and a well built product which its current wheels are not.

Heres what I'm looking for:

Cheap but not cheap... I'm looking for the best balance of price vs. quality, airing on the side of quality
flip/flop for a free wheel cause my knees are junk from hockey and need a break every now an then
Under 200

So far I looked at the nashbar deal with the formula hibs an weinmann rims however, I han't hear much feedback on the rim quality an I also heard the wheels were not asembled to spectacular

I aslo was looking at the Mavic/formula set up from greatdealsonbikes.com for 135

After that, I was questioning the some of the IRO/Harris wheelsets, but the proucts were similiar to the ones above, I'm not sure if the builup outways the price difference.

thanks ahead of time

wheel answer... no, wheelie:

if that formula/weinmann deep section is one that i've seen ($180 for the set), it's not bad at all. they're even made with some respectable dt swiss spokes and the rims have the words "ultimate power" written on the side.

I don't know too much about rims, but Formulas hub will be perfect for what you are looking for. Formulas are the most respected "cheap" hub that is readily available already built to a wheel. Stick with Formulas (or IROs, they are the same thing).

ya, Im not worried about the hubs, I know a couple people running formulas and everyone speaks well of them. I'm just questioning the rims, I'm 6'3" 220 so I'm not exactly easy on equipment.
