Cutout Leather Saddles
 

I think I remember a conversation I once had with somebody who told me that somebody out there modifies leather saddles by giving them a sewn cutout. Does anybody know anything about this? As my brooks has broken in, its begun to develop a ridge in the middle. While the saddle is otherwise great, the middle is NOT a place for a ridge. Thanks for info.

I've never cut the center out of one, but I've seen it done. Looks pinchy to me :eek:

I'm actually considering getting rid of the lacing on mine. I'll give it a little more time to break in first, but it seems to add too much stiffness in the gooch region. Maybe I just need to tilt it down one more notch.

I'd like to try one of these but I'm dazed by the number of options. I have no idea which model to buy. I've emailed them and hope they can offer some guidance.
