Sugino 75 sealed BB options..
Okay, so my 75 BB is pitted after just 4 months and I want to know what the options are to replce it with a sealed unit.
Would the Dura-ace 7600 BB work? It's got the same spindle length, but I don't know if the tapers would match up.
Guesses are welcome. Thanks!

cheap shimano un52/un72 also work reasonably well.

Says one thing to me: lack of maintenance.
If you life in harsh winter/rainy/sandy areas, repack frequently. It is not even math.

Yeah yeah yeah, I expected it last a little longer between rebuilds, and when I finally got around to pulling it apart it was too late.
the problem with riding the BB on the street is the lack of seals. There's no two ways about it I just need to rebuild more often. I've decided it's not a good choice for everyday riding =)

That is a surprisingly short amount of time. I'm currently commuting in all weather on a bike with a Sugino 75 BB, and I've only repacked twice in the last 4 months or so. I use lots of water proof grease and one of those little plastic sleeve deals, which might help.
But if your BB was effed in such a short amount of time, I would definitely consider a Phil. I'm getting one for my rain-proof bike, once I get some funds for that project.
