"misplaced" not stolen
a guy here is basel sent a mail out concerning his
'73 colnago pista that had been stolen. then a few
days later it turned up ...in a creek near where he
had parked it.
its not as bad as it actually being stolen, but now
his bike is kind of ****. its going to take alot of work
to get it back in good working condition.

that sucks. that it's ****ed up, anyway. otherwise it'd be funny. i did that at a party the other week...was just drunk and thought someone had stolen my bike, and forgot that i had just moved it to let some other folks get their bikes out.
