1 to screw it in and 25 to get really pissed off because they saw a GE ad for lighbulbs in the subway.

"Hey corporate azzholes, LIGHTBULB CULTURE IS NOT FOR SALE!"

Did you see the toolbelt on that guy in the ad? No real lightbulb guy would wear that toolbelt with those overalls. Next they'll be selling ladders at the GAP. Fukkers.

I can't believe nobody has brought up how crappy the GE bulbs from x-mart are! Any serious FG/SS guru would go to the LBS (Local Bulb Shop) and pick up a custom built bulb. Or possibly a used bulb, if they know how to rebuild it.

Is the stem threaded or threadless? what's the difference? Can I use a threaded stem in a threadless socket or vice versa?

If you knew what you were doing, you'd have screwed it in correctly the first time. Don't blame the bulb.

I know $100 dollars seems a lot for a light bulb but if you used a Chris King lightbulb, you'd understand.

I actually have a local bulb shop. it really is nothing but bulbs. if you go in there and don't know exactly what you are looking for the lady will rip you apart.

it is also conviently located about a block away from my other LBS.

What is the best kind of GE bulb to use to convert to a halogen?

I'm sorry if this is a dumb question, I am new to this whole thing.
