did you see the new richard sachs lugs?
I don't know, man, they have a kind of wierd New Mexico swastika futurist thing goin on. Not a fan.
i wouldn't use them. a frame already has enough straight lines, i wouldn't want straight lines in my lugs too.
They're like the opposite of everything that makes a lug beautiful.
pixel-ated.
i'm not really feeling them either...when i first saw all those angles i thought there was something wrong with the way the image loaded on my computer or something...
Yeah I don't like them either, they're just ********ly weird. I'm really curious to see what they'd look like on a bike, though... like one of those SOMECs with the pixellated logos, perhaps?
i'm pretty sure the intention of the lugs is that they be carved. i don't think many builders would use them stock (pixelated).
on the right bike with the right finish they could potentially look ****ing amazing
They'd be perfect on an art deco bike.

Either way, I think that if used by a talented builder with a little carving on them they'd be great. Actually, I think that in the form they're in, they could really turn out nicely, and definitely different.
haha my first thought was "how santa fe."
Tetris!
